On the day of treatment
Precare
- We will go through your consent form, which will have been emailed to you before the session, and you will then be asked to sign a physical copy.
- The doctor will then cleanse your skin so that they can assess it.
- During this assessment, the doctor will look at skin thickness and quality along with the underlying muscles to determine the injection points needed.
- The target area will be numbed if necessary and then treated with a microfine needle to minimise discomfort.
Our Process
Anti-wrinkle injections have been on the market for almost 20 years. In this time they have proven to be safe and effective. Techniques, dosing, and composition of anti-wrinkle treatments have been refined over the last decade to provide clients with bespoke treatments suited to their needs. This is particularly true for anti-wrinkle treatments to the upper face.
During your consultation, the area will be assessed to determine the injection pattern that is needed. Once the consultation is complete, your treatment should take no longer than 15-20 minutes to complete. You should see the effects in 1-2 weeks after your first treatment, with compounded effects after a second treatment 1 month later.
Post-care
- Small lumps may be present the day of treatment. These are caused by the product itself and tend to disperse within 15-20 minutes.
- Avoid heavy makeup or unnecessarily touching the area for 6 hours to reduce the risk of infection. Also, steer clear of Vitamin C, Retinol, AHA, and BHA skincare products for 24 hours post-treatment, allowing your treatment time to settle.
- You might encounter bruising the day after your procedure, which is entirely normal and typically diminishes within 2-3 days. Abstaining from alcohol for 24 hours prior to and after your treatment can help minimise this.
- Refrain from rubbing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours to decrease the chance of the treatment shifting. Maintain an upright position for 2 hours to lessen the likelihood of unintended migration.
- Steer clear of strenuous exercises like weight training or cross-fit for 24 hours, as it can occasionally cause the treatment to move to unintended areas. Avoid saunas, jacuzzis, or hot baths for 24 hours post-procedure, as heat can lead to treatment migration.
