This training course provides a good introduction to both the theory and practical skills needed for developing an aesthetic cosmetic practice using BOTOX® and is suitable for:
- General Practitioners

Before commencing injectable aesthetic treatments in your clinic, you must ensure you have:
- An active registration with your medical governing body with no restrictions to practice or pending investigations or suspensions from practice.
- Professional indemnity insurance for aesthetic medicine listing all treatments that you intend practicing in your clinic.
- A current BLS – Basic Life Support Certification
- All listed protocols, as previously listed, in place.

Dr Paul Deignan MB BCH BAO
Dr Paul Deignan began working in medical aesthetics in 2020, undergoing extensive training in Ireland and the UK before taking a position with a large medical aesthetics clinic.
Here he identified a number of areas where the patient experience could be improved and set about implementing these.
In 2022 he took these practices and set up LumaDoc, Ireland’s first fully insured and certified medical aesthetics mobile treatment service.
Dr Paul built on the success of this service by setting up The Luma Clinic in 2023.
A survey performed by Allergan in 2024 showed that both LumaDoc and the Luma Clinic achieved one of the highest patient satisfaction scores in the country, with a net promoter score of 94%.
Based on these patient satisfaction scores, and a passion for mentoring other medical and healthcare professionals in the medical aesthetic setting, Dr Paul set up the LumaDoc Training Academy. This academy is specifically designed to instruct doctors and dentists on how to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes and optimise patient satisfaction: thus promoting successful medical aesthetic practices in the Irish industry.
